Dr. Edmund Billings
Dr. Billings is the Chief Medical Officer at Medsphere. As a seasoned healthcare information technology (IT) entrepreneur, Dr. Billings helped pioneer the development of electronic medical records (EMR). In 2007, he co-founded Open Health Data, an open source company that leverages the transition of healthcare data from creation to sharing to use and re-use.
He is the founder & CEO of Hands On Telehealth. Prior to founding Hands OnTelehealth, Nirav was Senior Vice President of Physician Services and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at REACH Health, a leading telehealth company with over 100 hospital customers throughout the US. Nirav has had multiple speaking engagements at telehealth conferences and webinars and has authored or co-authored telehealth articles, papers and poster presentations. Nirav has an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a M.S. and B.S. in Systems Engineering.
Komal Garewal is the former Head of Operations & Client Services at MedStartr, the first healthcare crowdfunding platform where she advised startup founders on project optimization, business and product development, marketing strategies, and scaling up methods. She has worked on over 75 crowdfunding projects, which have appeared on platforms ranging from Indiegogo to RocketHub totaling over $400k in funding to date.
Zachary Landman, M.D.
Zachary Landman, MD, is the chief medical officer for Doctorbase, a developer of scalable mobile health solutions, patient portals and patient engagement software. He earned his medical degree from UCSF School of Medicine and as a resident surgeon at Harvard Orthopaedics, he covered Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
